Introducing the HF6-1, Vossen’s inaugural Hybrid Forged design specifically crafted with 6-lug compatibility, further extending the HF Series to cater to truck and SUV enthusiasts. The HF6-1 shares the same Hybrid Forged process as the other models in the series and offers a choice of 5 standard transparent finishes and 5 customizable finishes to suit individual preferences.
The process begins by securely fastening the wheel-shaped mold onto the rotating flow forming machine, followed by a meticulous heating process. Hydraulic rollers are then utilized to apply carefully controlled pressure on the barrel, facilitating the gradual expansion of the wheel. Precise stretching and compressing techniques are employed to meticulously manipulate and adjust the material, achieving the desired width with precision. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, resulting in a final composition that remarkably resembles a wheel produced in a factory. This advanced process not only reduces weight but also reinforces the construction, yielding a wheel that is lighter and stronger in nature.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. Store unmounted wheels vertically in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and chemicals. Mounted wheels with tires should be stored horizontally in a stack or on a wheel rack, with tire pressure reduced to around 15 to 20 PSI to reduce sidewall stress during storage. Clean wheels thoroughly before storage to prevent brake dust and road grime from etching the finish over time.
